SPAGHETTI A LA CARBONARA 
16 oz. pkg. spaghetti
8 bacon slices, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
3 eggs, slightly beaten
Parmesan cheese to taste, about 2 tbsp. to 1/4 c.
Pinch of salt
Pinch of hot pepper; optional

Boil spaghetti. While spaghetti is boiling, fry bacon. In a bowl beat eggs, add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper; set aside. As soon as spaghetti is ready, bacon should also be ready. Drain spaghetti and place in large serving bowl. Quickly add hot bacon along with drippings to spaghetti; then quickly add egg-cheese mixture and toss until egg is cooked from contact with hot spaghetti and hot bacon with drippings. Add more cheese if desired and serve. Serves 4.
