LEMON-SOUR CREAM CAKE 
1 c. butter, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour, add soda. Add half flour mixture to batter beating all the time. Add sour cream and then the remaining flour. Add flavoring and blend well. Pour batter into a buttered and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake 315 degrees, 1 1/4 hours.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1/4 c. cream
1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Blend all ingredients and frost cake.

This has been our family's favorite birthday cake for years. Exceptionally good and moist.
