CHOCOLATE FUDGE 
1 c. evaporated milk
3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. Karo syrup

Melt chocolate squares in evaporated milk. Add sugar and Karo syrup and cook over medium low heat. I test for being done by putting about 1/2 teaspoon of fudge in a small dish and stir. If it hardens, the candy is done. If it does not harden, cook longer. When done, remove from heat and add 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons butter. Place pan in cold water and stir until of consistency to pour into oblong greased pan. When firm, cut into squares. Chopped nuts may be added when candy is being stirred.
