SALLYE'S MICROWAVE LASAGNE 
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
1 (32 oz.) jar prepared spaghetti sauce
1/2 c. dry red wine
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1 (6 oz.) Ricotta or cottage cheese
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 uncooked lasagne noodles
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced

Break up sausage into a micro-colander. Set colander over 2 quart glass batter bowl and cover with a paper towel. Micro on high 5 minutes, drain off fat. Place meat in same bowl; break up meat with a fork. Add spaghetti sauce, wine, garlic powder and basil. Stir and micro on high 7-8 minutes until fluffy. Spoon meat sauce to cover bottom of 10x10 inch micro dish. Place 4 noodles on the sauce.

In separate dish mix cheeses, parsley, egg and pepper, spread this mixture over the noodles and then half the Mozzarella cheese, repeat with sauce on top. Cover with plastic wrap. Micro on High 6 minutes, then micro on 70% power (medium-high) for 20 minutes. Let rest covered, for 12-15 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
