OLD FASHION STEW 
1 lb. lean stew meat
1 pkg. frozen vegetable gumbo mix
1 can potatoes (or peeled and cubed fresh potatoes)
1 can corn
1 lg. can tomato sauce
4 beef bouillon cubes
1 lg. can V-8 juice
1 can green beans
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 tsp. season salt
1 c. water

Place stew meat, V-8 juice, tomato sauce, onion, season salt, bouillon cubes and water into crock pot. Cook on High several hours. About 1 1/2 hours prior to serving, add vegetables and continue to cook.

Optional: For Mexican flavor - add picante sauce to individual soup bowls.
