CHOCOLATE CHILI | |
2 lb. ground beef 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce 2 (4 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 (6 oz.) can pitted ripe olives, drained and chopped 1/4 c. chili powder, less for mild flavor 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. horseradish mustard 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. sage 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. ground cumin (optional) In a large kettle, brown meat. Drain fat. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. |
