CHOCOLATE BIG BITE HOLIDAY
COOKIES
 
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. rum extract
1 egg
1 (8 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate bar
1/2 c. nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Break chocolate bar into chunks bigger than chips, but smaller than a bread box. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and rum extract; beat until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate bars bits and nuts. Drop from ice cream scoop 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake approximately 11-14 minutes until soft in middle and crispy on the outside.
