COUNTRY FRIED APPLES 
6 to 7 medium apples, cored and cut thinly
sugar
butter
cinnamon

Melt butter to generously cover bottom of skillet. Place apples in skillet, making sure slices are thin. No more than 1/4-inch thick; thinner is better. Slow fry over medium heat with sugar and cinnamon to taste. Cook until transparent and soft. Serve hot. Cook without peels is optional.
