OREO ICE CREAM DESSERT 
24 Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk (5 oz.)
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 (4 oz.) bar German chocolate
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) frozen whipping cream

Sprinkle crushed cookies onto bottom of 9"x13" pan. Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over crumbs. Spread softened ice cream over crumbs and freeze. Combine the remaining ingredients and boil for 4 minutes. Cool and pour over top of ice cream. Top with large container of frozen whipped topping. Sprinkle with nuts and freeze. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
