OREO - ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1/2 c. butter
1 sm. pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 (4 oz.) bar semi-sweet chocolate
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Melt butter. Add to crushed cookies. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread ice cream smoothly over cookies. Freeze. Put butter, sugar, milk and chocolate in pan and bring to a boil. Boil for 15 minutes. Cool and spread over ice cream. Top with Cool Whip and chopped nuts. Freeze. Take out of freezer 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
