BUTTERSCOTCH BALLS 
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. light cream or evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. marshmallows (large)
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Into a small pan, put sugar, cream, vanilla, and salt. Mix. Cook on medium heat until 232 degrees or soft ball; stir occasionally. Do not beat; put in a pan of warm water. Dip marshmallows, then roll in nuts.
