PERFECT STANDING RIB ROAST 
"Start dinner before leaving for the day."

Choose at least 2 pound rib roast, allowing 3/4 to 1 pound per person. Any time during the day, place the room temperature roast, sprinkled with salt, pepper and seasoned salts, on a rack in an open pan for exactly 45 minutes in a preheated 375 degree oven.

Do not add water.

Do not cover.

Do not baste.

Turn off oven. Leave the roast in the oven, with door closed. Turn oven on another 45 minutes before serving. (60-70 minutes for a 10-12 pound roast.)
