PINEAPPLE BANANA DESSERT 
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 sticks butter, softened
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
5 bananas, sliced in half lengthwise
20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
8 oz. carton Cool Whip topping
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 jar maraschino cherries

Combine graham cracker crumbs and 1 stick softened butter in bowl and mix well. Press in 9 x 13 pan. Combine sugar, remaining stick of butter and beat until light. Add eggs, beat well. Add vanilla, beat until light and fluffy. Spread mixture over graham cracker crust. Arrange bananas on top of mixture, top with pineapple. Spread Cool Whip over top. Sprinkle with walnuts and garnish with cherries. Refrigerate before serving.
