BUTTER ICING 
1/3 c. soft butter
1 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. top milk
2 c. more sifted confectioners sugar

Blend together first 4 ingredients, then add sugar. Beat hard to make the icing fluffy. Add more milk or sugar if you need it to make the icing just right to spread.
