COBBLER CRUST | |
2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. Crisco (butter flavor) 1/2 c. buttermilk Cut Crisco into dry ingredients. Add buttermilk. Divide batter, 2/3 for bottom crust, roll thin. Put in pan and add fruit filling. Roll remaining crust and place over top, sprinkle with sugar. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes. |
