SAND TARTS 
2 sticks (real butter)
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Add sugar and cream well. Add flour, nuts and vanilla. Shape into balls or crescents and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until light brown. Roll in powdered sugar while warm. (They keep forever.)
