CABBAGE CHOWDER SOUP 
4 carrots, sliced

Put in pan with 3 tablespoons butter and cook 5 minutes. Cover with water and cook until tender. Slice fresh mushrooms and a package of smoked sausage. Put with carrots and let it get hot. If low on water, add more. Add: 1 can cream of mushroom soup 3 cans of milk

Cook until thick and hot. Do not boil. Shred up small head of cabbage and add. Cook until cabbage is tender.
