ANNIE'S RICE 
1 c. Minute Rice
1 pkg. chicken noodle soup mix
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 stick butter
2 1/2 c. water
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. sage

Saute onions in butter until transparent. Add soup mix, water, rice and spices. Cover and cook until liquid is absorbed, 15 minutes. Remove form heat and let stand 10 minutes.
