GRANNY'S CHOCOLATE/CHOCOLATE
CHIP CAKE
 
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
4 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate chips

Grease and flour a tube cake pan. Mix all ingredients except for chocolate chips with a mixer, for length specified on cake mix. Fold in chocolate chips.

Pour batter into cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Let cool, inverting tube. Remove cake from pan when cool. Dust with confectioners' sugar.

(For a lower calorie/cholesterol version, substitute sugar-free pudding mix, low-fat sour cream, egg substitutes, and decrease oil and chocolate chips.)
