BEST EVER LAYERED SALAD 
1 med. head lettuce, torn
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 ribs celery, sliced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen Chinese pea pods, thawed and crumbled
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and sliced
2 tomatoes, sliced

Layer first 6 ingredients in order listed; spread mayonnaise on top to seal. Sprinkle sugar, cheese, salt, garlic powder, and bacon over all. Arrange eggs and tomatoes on top. Cover and chill 4 hours or up to 24 hours. Serves 10-12.
