CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
6-8 cooked sweet potatoes, peeled & halved lengthwise

1. In electric skillet combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt.

2. Bring mixture to boil at 250 degrees. Stir until butter melts and sugar dissolves.

3. Add sweet potatoes. Baste with syrup. Reduce heat to simmer. Cook, covered with vent closed 15 minutes.
