NORM'S COCKTAIL RYE 
50 slices of cocktail rye bread
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. pork sausage (in roll)
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
1/4 tsp. oregano
Garlic powder

Brown ground beef and drain, brown pork sausage and drain. (Be sure to break both beef and pork sausage in very small pieces before browning and brown them separately). Cut up the cheese and combine it with both meats in frying pan. Add the oregano and sprinkle on the garlic powder.

Mix these ingredients in the frying pan over a low flame and continue mixing until the mixture is sticky. Cover each piece of rye bread with this mixture and place on a cookie sheet. Bake rye bread with mixture in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
