HANKIE PANKIES 
1 pkg. cocktail pumpernickel bread
1 (12 oz.) pkg. bulk sausage
4 oz. Velveeta cheese
Garlic powder to taste

Brown and drain sausage. Set aside. Cut cheese into cubes and melt in microwave. Add garlic powder to cheese and stir until well blended. Add sausage to cheese mixture and stir until well blended. Spread on pumpernickel bread and lay flat on baking sheet. Place under broiler until lightly browned. Watch closely as it only takes a couple of minutes to brown.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
