EASY CHEESY POTATOES 
4 baking potatoes (about 6 oz. each)
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
2/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. dried chopped chives

Heat broiler. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil; lightly grease. Scrub and dry potatoes. Cut each potato lengthwise into 1/2 inch thick slices. In small bowl combine butter and garlic. Brush cut sides of potatoes with butter mixture and place on prepared baking sheet. Broil 4 inches from heat 8 minutes, until golden brown. Turn potatoes and broil 6 to 8 minutes until golden and tender when pierced with knife. Sprinkle cheese evenly over slices. Broil 1 to 2 minutes until cheese melts. Top with chives.
