CHEESE ONION BREAD | |
1/2 c. chopped onions 1 tbsp. shortening 1 egg 1/2 c. milk 1 1/2 c. Bisquick 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 tbsp. poppy seeds 1 tbsp. butter 1. Saute onion in fat until transparent. 2. Combine egg and milk and add to Bisquick. Stir until moist. 3. Add onion and 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Stir. 4. Place in greased 8 inch round baking pan. Dot top with butter and sprinkle on the poppy seeds and remainder of cheese. 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. |
