RED SAUCE (For Pasta) 
1/4 c. olive oil
2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed or minced
1 med. (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 sm. can (6 oz.) tomato paste
3/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
1/4 c. chopped canned clams or cooked shrimp
1/8 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Place garlic and olive oil in heavy skillet and saute lightly over medium heat. Reduce heat and add tomato sauce, tomato paste, parsley, salt and pepper.

Cover and simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add drained clams or shrimp. Serve immediately over hot, cooked pasta, spaghetti, linguini, etc. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serves 4.
