CRISCO SUGAR COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter flavored Crisco
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/4 salt
1 1/2 baking powder

Cream Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla until well blended. Beat in egg. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Mix into cream mixture. Cover, refrigerate overnight. Roll dough between 2 sheets wax paper 1/3 at a time. Freeze until firm. Peel off paper, cut into shapes. Can also cut out right on cookie sheet. Place on ungreased sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for 7-9 minutes.

CREAMY VANILLA FROSTING:

Cream:

1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco

Add:

1 lb. powdered sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat and frost cool cookies.
