MICRO CARAMEL CORN 
Pop 3/4 cup popcorn. Put into large brown paper bag.

Bring to boil: 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. Karo syrup 1/2 tsp. salt

Cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

Pour syrup over corn and shake. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on high; shake. Again microwave 1-1 1/2 minutes on high; shake.

I have added 1 teaspoon of various extracts or flavorings to give the caramel corn a different flavor. My favorites have been vanilla and almond extracts.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
