SQUASH COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. cooked mashed winter squash
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Mix 1/2 cup butter, 3/4 cup granulated sugar and 3/4 cup brown sugar. Beat until smooth. Add 2 whole eggs and 1 1/2 cups cooked mashed winter squash. Mix well.

Add 2 1/4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon allspice and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Mix well. Add 1 cup raisins and 1 1/2 cups nuts. Bake in preheated oven 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes about 48 cookies.
