SAUSAGE-CHEDDAR QUICHE 
8-0 inch unbaked pie shell
1 lb. pork sausage
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. minced parsley
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. milk
2 eggs

Place piece of buttered aluminum foil, buttered side down, over 8-9 inch pastry. (Keeps sides from collapsing!) Cover foil with layer of dried beans. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove. Prick shell and bake 5 additional minutes. Cool.

Cook sausage and drain. Combine sausage and next 7 ingredients. Spoon into quiche shell and top with cheese.

Combine eggs and milk, beating just until foamy. Pour over cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned and quiche is set.
