1 c. (each) soft butter, brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 7/8 c. flour
6 milk chocolate bars
1 c. chopped toasted almonds or pecans

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add egg yolk and vanilla; add flour until blended (dough will be thick). Spread evenly on 10 x 15 jelly roll pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees until crust is golden brown and puffy. Remove from oven and place on rack. Arrange chocolate bars evenly over surface of crust; let stand for 5 minutes to soften. Spread chocolate; sprinkle with chopped nuts; cool and cut.
