MOM'S HOMEMADE BLUE CHEESE
DRESSING
 
This is a thick dressing and can be used as a great vegetable dip!

2 cups dairy sour cream
2 cups real mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. finely minced garlic
salt and pepper, to taste
2 to 3 wedges crumbled blue cheese (or to taste)

Note: garlic salt may be substituted instead of the minced garlic and salt.

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with whisk or electric mixer. Store in tightly sealed jar or container. Refrigerate until use.

Dressing can last up to one month in tightly sealed container in refrigerator.

This recipe is better if made at least one day before being served to allow ingredients time to mesh.
