BUTTERMILK BISCUITS 
2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. water

Cut flour and shortening together, mix water and milk together. Add to flour mixture. Mix and turn out on floured board. Knead a few times. Press out and cut into biscuits. Place on greased pan. Grease tops. Bake in 450 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown.
