1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Grease and lightly flour a 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. In a small mixer bowl combine all ingredients and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Beat with electric mixer until combined.

Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Turn into pan. Bake in a 375 degree oven 5 to 30 minutes or until done. Cool. Serves 9.
