MISSISSIPPI MUD PIE 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 of a 10 oz. pkg. miniature marshmallows

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs. Sift flour, cocoa and salt together and add to cream mixture. Mix well. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. Bake 35 minutes at 300 degrees. Remove from oven and pour marshmallows over top and return to 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Cool cake for 1 hour before icing.

ICING:

1 box confectioners sugar
2 sticks butter
1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 to 1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix sugar and cocoa; add melted butter, milk and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Add nuts and spread on cooled cake.
