QUICHE LORRAINE 
1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and drained
1/4 lb. Swiss or American cheese, shredded
3 eggs
2 c. milk or light cream
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 (9 inch) pie shell

Crumble bacon into pastry lined pan. Sprinkle cheese over bacon. Beat 3 eggs slightly, add milk, salt and pepper. Pour over bacon and cheese in pan. Bake in moderately hot oven at 400 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes. Remove while center appears soft. Serve warm.
