TIA MARIA'S SOUR DOUGH BISCUITS | |
SOUR DOUGH BATTER: 1/2 c. water 1 pkg. yeast 2 c. potato juice Flour (enough to make a runny batter) 1/2 c. sugar Let set for 3 days in the refrigerator. SOUR DOUGH BISCUITS: 1 c. mixture 2 tbsp. oil 1/2 c. warm water Self-rising flour 1/4 tsp. baking soda Knead to the texture of biscuit dough. If you want double deck or biscuits to split in half. Extend dough, coated with oil and fold in half. Cut biscuits and let rise 10 to 15 minutes. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Bake until done. |
