HONEY - PEACH BUTTER | |
18 med. peaches, washed & peeled 1/4 c. water 2 1/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. honey Chop peaches coarsely, cook in water until soft; press through a sieve or food mill. Measure 6 cups pulp into large saucepan. Stir in sugar and honey; heat to boiling. Stirring frequently, boil gently 40-50 minutes or until mixture thickens. While mixture cooks, prepare jars and water bath. After mixture thickens, fill jars, process and cool and store in a cool place. 3-4 half pints. |
