Southern Cornbread Dressing II

This was just what I was looking for. Simple yet tasty cornbread dressing for my southern born husband. I did use low-fat margarine to saute the veggies and also used Egg Beaters in place of the eggs. I upped the sage to about 2 t. for the amount of bread I had. Thank you for this great recipe.

This is exactly right! I had printed this recipe before and lost it, so happy to have found it again. Thanks so much -- my grandmother never wrote anything down, but this dressing is the real thing.
