2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Cook sugar and water to a soft ball stage and pour over 8 ounces marshmallow cream. Beat the marshmallow and syrup mixture until well mixed. Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Beat until thick enough to spoon out. Drop on waxed paper. Makes 3 dozen.
