UNCLE WALTER'S MEATLOAF 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped onion
2 c. ground or chopped tomatoes
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 c. milk
2 eggs
Bay leaves
Bacon
Salt and pepper
Sage to taste

Mix and form loaf in pan that has been rubbed with garlic. Melt 1/4 cup butter and pour over top of meatloaf after coving it with bay leaves and bacon strip. Bake in slow oven 45 minutes.
