1 box Duncan Hines Butter Cake mix
1 (3 oz. size) box vanilla instant pudding
1 stick butter, melted
3 eggs
3/4 c. rum
1/4 c. water

Mix cake mix, instant pudding, butter, eggs, water and rum in this order, mix well. Pour in greased tube pan, bake 40 minutes in 300 degree oven.

SAUCE FOR RUM CAKE:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. rum
1/4 c. water

Mix, cook 5 minutes and pour over hot cake.
