RICE KRISPIE BARS 3 
1/4 c. butter
10 oz. marshmallows
5 c. Rice Krispies

Melt butter and marshmallows in microwave for 2 minutes. Stir and cook 2 minutes longer. Add Rice Krispies and stir. Press warm mixture into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Optional - Frost with melted chocolate chips.

VARIATION I: Melt butter and marshmallows in double boiler instead of microwave.

VARIATION II: Add 1/2 cup peanut butter. Substitute 6-7 cups Wheaties for Rice Krispies.

VARIATION III: M & M Krispies. Increase to 6 tablespoons butter, marshmallows to 16 ounces, Rice Krispies to 9 cups. Add 1/2 pound plain or peanut butter M & M's.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
