LEMON CHEESE LOGS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg yolk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. lemon rind
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Decorator candies

Combine sugar, butter and cream cheese. Cream until light and fluffy. Add egg yolk and beat well. Stir in flour, nuts, salt and lemon rind. Mix well. Cover and chill 2 hours. Shape dough by teaspoonsful into 2 inch logs by rolling between palms of hand. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 12 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool completely. Melt chocolate chips in double boiler and dip 1 end of log into chocolate then roll in decorator candies. Cool and store in airtight container. Yield: 12 dozen.
