SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALL 
SAUCE:

3/4 c. chopped onions
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. oil
2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 tsp. oregano

MEATBALLS:

1 lb. ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 c. grated cheese
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
Pepper
1 c. bread crumbs

This sauce is best when cooked slow. In a crockpot without the cover for several hours or on the stove without the cover for several hours, until thick.
