SWISS ONION SQUARES 
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 c. milk
2 c. biscuit mix
2 tbsp. poppy seed
2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg
3/4 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Paprika

Blend egg and milk with biscuit mix and poppy seed. Pour into a greased 7 x 11 inch pan. Saute onions in butter until slightly golden, spread on dough.

Beat eggs with sour cream and add salt and pepper. Spread over onions. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until set and lightly golden. Sprinkle with paprika. Better served hot, but very cold. Serves 12 to 14 as appetizer or may be used as bread.
