CABBAGE SLAW 
6 c. chopped cabbage
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 carrot, shredded
3/4 c. salad oil
1/3 c. vinegar
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. lemon or pineapple Jello

Put together cabbage, onion, pepper, carrot and pour salad oil over them in a bowl. Let set while mixing vinegar, water, salt, celery seed, mustard seed, and sugar. Heat this mixture to the boiling point then add Jello. Let set to cool, then pour over cabbage mixture and place in refrigerator. This is a good recipe to keep on hand as it keeps indefinitely in refrigerator.
