SPECIAL COOKIE CAKE (OR DUMP
CAKE)
 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients until batter forms. Place 3/4 of batter in an ungreased 13 x 9 pan, glass or metal. Distribute any flavor of fruit pie filling on top of batter, then dollop drops of remaining batter over the pie filling.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
