SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
2 lbs. hamburger
1 lg. onion, diced
4 c. water
2 lg. cans tomato paste
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. garlic
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. rosemary
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. tarragon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 bay leaf

Brown hamburger and onion; drain. Add water, seasonings and spices. If very thick, add water; simmer on lowest heat for 2 hours or until flavor has developed.
