LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion
14 1/2 oz. stewed tomatoes
6 oz. tomato paste
1 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. basil
2 1/2 c. cottage cheese
4 oz. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. oregano
8 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese for top only

Brown beef and onion, drain. Add next 6 ingredients. Mix remaining 4 ingredients in another bowl. Layer 1/2 meat sauce, 4 ounce uncooked noodles, all of cheese mix, then 4 ounces more noodles and remaining sauce. Top with 8 ounces Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour covered and 15 minutes uncovered.

Serves 8. 1 bread, 4 protein, 1 vegetable. 35 optional calories.
